Our client is seeking a full-time, motivated, and ambitious individual to join their team as an Analyst. Candidates will be responsible for mitigating risks and maximizing property values on existing portfolio investments.
The ideal candidate will spend a majority of the time communicating with borrowers, analyzing financial information, reviewing legal documents, and completing thorough reports on outstanding assets. Each candidate should be an independent self-starter with a strong analytical background, exemplary organizational and multitasking skills, excellent attention to detail, and effective verbal/written communications skills. Compensation is competitive, based upon the candidate's experience level and will include a discretionary, performance-based bonus.
Typical Responsibilities

Monitor progress of borrowers' business plans, including financial or technical covenants

Serve as the point of contact for borrowers and vendors on loans

Review legal documents and draft legal notices for loan investments

Analyze property financials and construction progress against baselines

Coordinate with the servicing department to ensure timely payments

Work with outside counsel to enforce loan documents and covenants

Evaluate and author reports on existing investments in the portfolio

Interact with consultants to monitor assets and perform site inspections on investments
Desired Skills & Experience

1-3 years of project management experience with the ability to perform several tasks concurrently with poise and professionalism

Real estate, asset management, or construction management experience strongly preferred.

Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills with the ability to meet deadlines

Outstanding ability to effectively articulate complex concepts both verbally and in writing

Comfortable with a changing, fast-paced environment, with the ability to learn new processes and improve on existing processes

Mathematical proficiency to review and maintain construction/improvement budgets, analyze financial information for properties, and complete reports for outstanding investments

Bachelor's degree required, Finance, Engineering, or Real Estate focus preferred

Mastery of Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn new technologies quickly
